Earthoploy, the new earth friendly Monopoly!

Earthopoly is an earth friendly board game played in a similar way to Monopoly but instead of earning money, players earn carbon credits which they can then trade for clean air.

This eco board game is fun and gets quite creative, having players become caretakers of many special places around the world including Deserted Deserts, Majestic Mountains and Awesome Oceans.  It uses things like carbon credits, clean air and recycling as incentives to increase property values.  Children learn about the “reduce, reuse, recycle and rethink” way of life.  Penalties include fines for excessive emissions and a carbon tax.  (Quite topical at the moment, isn’t it?)

Earthopoly is manufactured with minimal impact on the environment. All paper used in the game is 100% recyclable and printed using soy-based ink. The game’s box and board are made from 100% recycled paperboard, the outer wrapping is made from Earthfirst PLA film which is a bio-plastic and completely biodegradable.  It even uses tokens from nature such as bamboo, shells, crystals, wood and stones.

If you’d love to teach your kids more about how to be earth-friendly, this is a fun way to do it.  They will learn without realising it.  The game is suitable for 2 to 6 players from age 8 up.
