Come along with a mother and daughter as they dig up soil, plant a flower bed, and water the seeds to make their very first garden.
Together they watch the colourful vegetables grow. This book teaches a first concept of colours as well; green cabbage, purple turnips, orange carrots, yellow squash and red tomatoes. It has a handle die-cut through on every page so kids can take the book with them wherever they go!
Little Green Books are made with 100% recycled material and printed with soy-ink. They plant the seeds of eco-friendly consciousness at an early age so that we can grow a generation of earth-friendly readers.

This was a gift so I only read it once. But it was a very nice book. Had a lovely feel to it, love the handle. Beautiful pictures and well written. I think reading this would help a child learn their colours with addition to pointing out colours of things etc. Not one complaint.
